Teams split conversations among different people: for example, Sales and Support. Every space starts with a General team, the Default one, with everyone in it: while it’s the only one, everyone sees every conversation. Everyone is in at least one team.

Making a team

  1. In Teams, tap New team, name it and tap Create team.
  2. On its page, under Members, tap Add… to pick who handles its conversations. A person can be in several teams.
  3. In Channels, pick each channel’s Receiving team. The team’s page shows the channels that send it conversations.
From then on, that channel’s new conversations belong to that team:
  • Operators and viewers see their teams’ conversations and the ones they took.
  • Supervisors, admins and the owner see them all.
A conversation can be moved to another team from the conversation itself: see Inbox. A case type can also send its cases to a team: see Case types.

Deleting a team

On its page, Delete team. Its conversations and channels go to the default team, and so do its people who weren’t in another team. The default team can’t be deleted.
