1
Add the channel
In Channels, tap Add channel and pick Mercado Libre.
2
Choose who answers
In How do you want to receive them?:
- In one channel: questions and sales messages go to the same agent and team.
- Apart: questions (before the purchase) go to a channel of their own, with their own name, agent and team, and this channel keeps the sales messages. Whoever asks and then buys is the same contact.
3
Authorize minai desk
Tap Authorize on Mercado Libre. Sign in with your seller account, if you aren’t, and accept the permissions. You come back to the console, which confirms the account now receives questions and messages.
Mercado Libre’s rules
- Questions: the answer is published on the listing and everyone sees it. There’s one answer per question; if the customer asked several, the agent answers them together. After that, nobody can reply until they ask again.
- Sales messages: they’re private, about a purchase, and only the buyer can start them. Mercado Libre blocks messages with links to other sites or networks, phone numbers or emails, and closes the conversation in some cases (for example, a cancelled purchase or one in mediation).
- Messages go out without formatting (no bold or lists). The agent follows these rules on its own.
Changing the setup
On the account’s card, Configure:- Who answers: each channel’s name, agent and team, and whether questions go together or apart. You can change it any time: when they go back together, the leaving channel’s conversations move to the one that stays.
- Connection: if the channel is Disconnected (for example, you changed your Mercado Libre password or revoked the access), tap Authorize again. Disconnect revokes minai desk’s access and stops the questions and messages, but keeps the channels and their conversations.
