# Team and roles

> Adding people to the space, what each role can do and how to split conversations with teams.

## Adding someone

In **Team**, tap **Add person**, enter their email, pick the role and tap **Invite**. They get an email with a link to sign in.

## Roles

| Role | What they can do |
| - | - |
| **Owner** | Everything, the account included. |
| **Admin** | Agents, channels, models, connectors, integrations and team. |
| **Supervisor** | Every inbox, reassigning, seeing what the agent did, approving actions. |
| **Operator** | Handles their teams' conversations and their cases. |
| **Viewer** | Only looks at their teams' conversations. |

Only the owner can make someone an admin.

## Teams

Teams split conversations among different people: for example, **Sales** and **Support**. Without teams, everyone sees every conversation.

1. In **Team → Teams**, tap **New team**, name it and pick its **People**. A person can be in several.
2. In **Channels**, pick each channel's **Receiving team**.

From then on, that channel's new conversations belong to that team:

* **Operators and viewers** see their teams' conversations, those with no team and the ones they took.
* **Supervisors, admins and the owner** see them all.

A conversation can be moved to another team from the conversation itself: see [Inbox](https://help.desk.min-ai.ar/en/serve/inbox.md#moving-a-conversation).

If you delete a team, its open conversations are left without a team (everyone sees them) and its channels stop sending it conversations.

## Removing someone

**Remove** on their row. They can no longer sign in to this space; the conversations they had taken go back to the queue.
