# People and roles

> Adding people to the space, what each role can do, each person's page and the minai agents with access.

## Adding someone

In **People**, tap **Add person**, enter their email, pick the role (and their teams, if there is more than one) and tap **Invite**. They get an email with a link to sign in.

## Roles

| Role | What they can do |
| - | - |
| **Owner** | Everything, the account included. |
| **Admin** | Agents, channels, teams, people, integrations and models. |
| **Supervisor** | Every inbox, reassigning, seeing what the agent did, approving actions. |
| **Operator** | Handles their teams' conversations and their cases. |
| **Viewer** | Only looks at their teams' conversations. |

Only the owner can make someone an admin. On a person's page, next to the role, **What each role can do** shows this same summary.

## A person's page

Tap someone in **People** to see their page:

* **Profile**: their **Picture** and **Name**, shown in conversations, cases and teams. Everyone can change their own; admins change everyone else's.
* **Role**: what they can do in this space. The owner's role doesn't change.
* **Teams**: the teams they're in, at least one. See [Teams](https://help.desk.min-ai.ar/en/setup/teams.md).
* **Turn off**: they can no longer enter this space, take conversations or get cases; the conversations they had taken go back to the queue and what they did keeps their name. **Turn on** brings them back.
* **Remove from the space**: they leave it and its teams; the conversations they had taken go back to the queue. To come back, invite them again.

## minai agents

At the foot of **People** are the **minai agents**: [minai](https://docs.min-ai.ar) agents that analyze and configure this space. They see queues and metrics, read conversations and each turn's steps to review your agents, and propose changes as **drafts** that a person publishes. **They never write in a conversation** or publish.

They connect **from minai**, by installing the **minai desk** plugin on an agent and picking your space; only someone who administers the space can authorize it. **Revoke** takes its access away at once; to come back, connect it again from minai.

For a minai agent to answer your agents' consultations, it connects as an external agent: see [External agents](https://help.desk.min-ai.ar/en/setup/agents.md#external-agents).
